Custom Veterinary Media: Staff
 Alicia Isenberg Alicia joined CVM in 2008. She works on various projects, most notably the small-animal calendar and Vetguide, a semi-annual supplement to Veterinary Economics. She began her career as an editorial assistant with Marquis Who's Who, a division of National Register publishing. She was later promoted to research editor before leaving to pursue a freelance career. Alicia is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, PA, with a bachelor of arts in communications and rhetoric.
 Ryan Kramer Ryan joined Advanstar Communications as an intern in 1999 before becoming a full-time employee that same year. He worked in several capacities—including a brief stint as the Art Director for Veterinary Medicine—before settling on his CVM position and the greater variety of challenges it provides. Ryan has an associate's degree in communication design, as well as various desktop certificates. He continues to acquire additional certificates, including his most recent for web design.
 Heather B. Lewellen, DVM Dr. Lewellen earned her bachelor of science in animal sciences and her doctor of veterinary medicine degrees from the University of Missouri - Columbia. After graduation from veterinary school, she practiced small-animal general and emergency veterinary medicine for nine years in Colorado, St. Louis, and Kansas City. By joining the Advanstar team in 2005, Dr. Lewellen combined her love for veterinary medicine, the written word, and education. As technical editor she edits articles, roundtables, symposia and webinar presentations, as well as many other types of educational materials. Enhancing hands-on learning (wet labs) at the three CVC conferences continues to be an ever-changing, stimulating and rewarding experience for Dr. Lewellen, who has her own blog in the Community section of dvm360.com.
 Jed Bean Jed has done two tours with Advanstar Communications for a total of 11.5 years. He brings his 20 years of veterinary industry publishing experience, the past 10 in custom education, to every tailor-made print educational supplement, custom meeting, and custom e-media project. Jed graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a bachelor of arts in journalism and advertising.
 Anne Belcher Anne has worked with the Advertising Sales Team and the Projects Sales Team on various projects and day-to-day tasks since joining CVM in 2006. She also represents Advanstar Communications at the company's convention booth. Most importantly, Anne manages the CVM group's project billing. Anne's experience includes:
